“Absolution in plastic”, a blend of optimistic surrealism & contemporary figuration, is a surreal allegory for our equivocal relationship with a consumerist world. Playful narratives told across fragmented scenes, grapple with consumption, identity, and existential struggles. Plastic figures, both familiar and absurd, navigate a world of buoyant naiveté and hollow ambition. Symbols and metaphors clash, highlighting the societal contradictions that trap us in a cycle of desire, anxiety & conformity.

Birth of Venus between fame and unlucky prompts

Reborn in a moment of banal beauty, Venus seeks admiration, thrill, and fame. Three lifelines welcome her: 1. sinful prompting, 2. the law of the jungle, 3. the commercial value of her avatar.
Cognitive grid offloading

Cognitively offloading, an enthusiastic but distracted mind drifts off into an augmented wonderland of echoes and likes. The stage of inescapable reality sets in, violently messing with tensors, sensors as well as brain functions.
Dual Apex Vanity

While a cool breeze creeps over their hedge, militarized arbiters of taste buoyantly indulge in their daily connoisseur chores, frowning upon a world that lies beyond their garden of fine arts.
Justice served cold sushi

Surrounded by humanity's artistic extrapolations, the plastic muse ignites a flood of ideas rooted in gold-dusted grounds, floating on the rising tide of imaginations that are merely popular yet distant tropes. Justice is served cold.
Lucky strikes

In the amazing race for cutthroat progress and absolute power, everybody gets their chance of striking it lucky, whether socially adept on high moral ground or influential through ignorant bliss. Yet, regarding one thing they are equal: Insurmountable hunger.
Trigger - Happy - Guilt

Bombarded by promos and calls to action, a supercharged shopper equipped with diverse political opinions pursues their purchases with impulsive conviction, battling the urge to go berserk on nearby POS triggers. Meanwhile, an activist pet dog, caught in the crossfire, engages in a heated debate with one of a kind shopping bag as worlds collide.

“The Separation of the Plastic People" warps reality in a vibrant collision of transformation with the physical, envisioning a future where humanity, dependent on plastic for survival, merges with it. The iconic yellow suits become a symbol of a society reliant on toxic lifelines in the digital age. Despite the bleakness and fleeting promises, optimism emerges, inviting viewers to question perception and grapple with contemporary anxieties about technology, environment, and self-image.
